Specialist Fleet Vehicles
CAS has a varied number of specialist vehicles, ranging from roll-on/roll-off (RORO) vehicles that can drop scaffold beds off to specific areas, Hi-ab mounted crane vehicles and standard 7.5-tonne to 28-tonne flatbed bodies. With this background and wide-ranging experience, we can provide the ideal vehicle for your specific project.
Quality Scaffolding Material
We only use top quality scaffolding material, such as lightweight high-tensile 3.2mm scaffold tube, which provides a comparable strength to traditional scaffold tube with ease and therefore quicker erection/dismantle times and less strain to our workforce. These all conform to BS EN 10210-1 standards.
All our scaffold boards are quality machine graded and also conform to BS EN 2482 standards.
Our scaffolding fittings are all drop-forged, while our double couplers are heavy-duty class B; all conforming to BS EN 39:2001 standards.
All our scaffolds are accessed by the Alto Universal Scaffold Stair units, this is a versatile all aluminium access solution totally compliant staircase to access a wide range of working lift heights.
Dedicated Lifting Gear & Beams
CAS carries a substantial stock of certified lifting equipment, including lifting beams, electric and manual chain hoists and beam trolleys, which are all tested and fixed to our scaffold structures before use. This safety practice enables us to guarantee our clients that all lifting and access requirements are certified and completed timely and safely.
All our lifting equipment is inspected and tested to LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) requirements before use, ensuring that only the highest standards are met. As a LOLER-inspected company, CAS ensures all jobs are carried out professionally and that all equipment is tested to the highest standards.
Van Thiel Scaffolding
Advantages of Using Van Thiel
At CAS, we rely on our skills and products to deliver industry-leading standards of work; that is why we use the Van Thiel concept. This time-tested and industry-approved method encompasses the whole process of the loading and unloading of materials, and the speed of erection, adaption and dismantling of our scaffold structures. We aim to create a safe and efficient scaffolding system that works perfectly for small-scale developments as well as large-scale projects.
So, what are some of the advantages of using Van Thiel?
- Our materials are lightweight, easy to assemble and quick to erect.
- This is an ideal solution for any kind of building frame; so if your premises are concrete, timber, or even steel, this process allows us to apply scaffolding safely and efficiently in advance.
- We can make changes and adaptations with ease on both cladding and masonry buildings.
- There is no risk of joint couplers, as joints are crimped to the tube lengths, making this a safer and faster way to work.
- By using Van Thiel, CAS can attach netting and sheeting to your equipment, as there is no tube protruding.
- Tube locks provide less strain on the scaffolder, making it the ideal process solution.
With these wide-ranging health and safety advantages, it is easy to see why we use the Van Thiel concept. To find out more about what we do, or to get a quote for your scaffolding needs, get in touch with our client-friendly team today.
